Oro Valley, incorporated in 1974, is a suburban town located 3 miles north of Tucson, Arizona, United States, in Pima County.
Oro Valley is North of Tucson at the base of local landmark Pusch Ridge with views of both the Tortolita Mountains and the Tucson Skyline.  Oro Valley is a haven for biking, birding, hiking, and horseback riding. It encompasses over 50 miles of trails and paths set against the gorgeous Santa Catalina Mountains with even more trail options at Catalina State Park. Oro Valley is home to several top rated schools and has often been named one of the best places to live in Arizona.
